Leann Conley-Holcom

    Leann Conley-Holcom is a highly-regarded singer and conductor hailed for her “sumptuous tone and fine technique” and “performances of great energy and charm.” She has been singing with the True Concord since 2010.

    Leann is a doctoral candidate in choral conducting at the University of Washington Seattle, assistant conductor of the UW Chamber Singers, and associate director of the Tacoma Youth Chorus. Prior to her doctoral studies, Leann performed and conducted in the San Francisco Bay Area for several years, where she held the positions of Director of Choral and Vocal Activities at Chabot College and Associate Music Director at the Grammy-award-winning Pacific Boychoir Academy.

    Leann holds a master’s degree in choral conducting from Northern Arizona University, where she led the University Singers and assistant-conducted the esteemed Shrine of the Ages Choir alongside Dr. Edith Copley.  She also holds a Bachelors degree in voice from Pacific Lutheran University, where she had the honor of being named a Mary Baker Russell Scholar and Richard D. Moe Arts Fellow.

    Leann is a longtime member of the Oregon Bach Festival Berwick Chorus and has performed with Seattle’s whateverandeveramen choir, Vox Humana Dallas, Sedona Academy of Chamber Singers and the Festival Ensemble of the International Bach Academy Stuttgart. She recently made her solo debut at Carnegie Hall with the New York City Chamber Orchestra.
