Benjamin Irons (CHt, CMI) is a sound therapist, professional musician, and Artist-Collaborator for Dragonfly Percussion. Irons holds a B.M. in Instrumental Performance from Northern Arizona University. Through his private practice, “Zen with Ben” (Tempe, AZ), he works extensively with sound and vibration as a form of alternative medicine for stress-related conditions. As a Certified Atma Buti® Sound Healing Practitioner, Irons incorporates the teachings of the Atma Buti lineage, as taught by Master Suren Shrestha, into his sound therapy practice. He is a proud member of the International Association of Meditation Instructors, Sound Healers Association, and the American Federation of Musicians (San Diego, Local 325).

Irons currently serves as the Principal Percussionist with the Flagstaff Symphony Orchestra. He has performed throughout the United States, Europe, and China; working, most notably, with the Los Angeles Philharmonic, San Diego Symphony, Hawai’i Symphony, Phoenix Symphony, Tucson Symphony, Arizona Philharmonic, and Arizona Opera orchestras. Each February, Irons performs with the Arizona Musicfest Festival Orchestra, comprised of players from the nation’s finest orchestras.
