Simon Dyer

    Dyer was a member of the Florida Grand Opera Studio for seasons 2017–19 where he performed Raimondo, Lucia di Lammermoor; Second Soldier, Salome; Colline, La Bohème; Antonio, Le nozze di Figaro; and Calavera/Edward G. Robinson, Frida. He has performed operatic roles with Glimmerglass Festival, The Santa Fe Opera, Boston Lyric Opera, Odyssey Opera, and more, and was most recently seen in the UK with Garsington Opera in a production of The Bartered Bride, soon to be released on OperaVision, directed by Paul Curran. In concert, both as soloist and ensemble, highlights include performances of Coro by Beria at The Lucerne Festival under the baton of Sir Simon Rattle, Koyaanisqatsi at The Royal Festival Hall with Philip Glass and his ensemble, and most recently Monteverdi’s Vespers of 1610 with The English Concert, under Laurence Cummings. He graduated from The Boston Conservatory in 2017, and received his Bachelor’s degree from Trinity Laban.
